Weekly Pool Cleaning

A homeowner calls for weekly pool cleaning when they realize a pool does not stay clean on its own. Leaves, bugs, dust, and sunscreen build up fast in the Hill Country heat. The water turns cloudy, algae starts to cling to the walls, and the pump works harder. They want a pool that is always ready to swim without spending their weekends scrubbing and testing.

Our crew arrives with a telescopic pole, a brush, a leaf skimmer, a vacuum head and hose, and a test kit. We skim the surface first, then brush the walls, steps, and tile line. Next we vacuum the floor, empty the skimmer and pump baskets, and brush the waterline. Finally we run a full chemical test and add chlorine, acid, or algaecide as needed to bring pH, alkalinity, and sanitizer into range.

The time and cost of weekly cleaning depend on the pool's surface area, whether it is plaster, fiberglass, or vinyl, and how much debris the yard drops. Pools under oak or cedar trees need more skimming and basket emptying. A pool with a complex shape or a raised spa takes longer to brush. Heavy rain or high winds can throw off the chemistry and require extra treatment on the next visit.

On cleaning day, we work around your schedule and leave the pool area swept and tidy. We rinse the deck, coil the hose, and store our gear. Before we arrive, make sure the pump and timer are on and the gate is unlocked. You do not need to be home. After each visit, we leave a note with the test results and any adjustments we made.
